I'm interested in creating music that communicates emotion with a broad variety of audiences through fascinating melodies, harmonies and rhythms. I draw on all the sounds I've ever heard: classical music, jazz, rock, world music, folksongs, hymns and anything else that happens to interest me at the time. Come share my sound world!

Oregon Connection: M.Mus. and D.M.A. from University of Oregon. I've completed commissions for Maria Choban, Alder Street Players at Portland First Presbyterian, Mousai, Chehalem Symphony Orchestra and the Northwest Horn Orchestra. Professor at George Fox University in Newberg since 2001. Many works inspired by PNW people and landscapes, including Chehalem Sketches (2009), commissioned by Alder Street Sextet.
